Gillian Francis

Gillian is Head of Partnerships at Uptake Alliance and has over 20 years’ experience in investing, real estate, clean energy and climate tech. Previously, Gillian led a team at Lockheed Martin Energy that assisted cleantech and energy efficiency startups in accelerating their products and solutions to commercialization by partnering them with utility and commercial and industrial clients. Gillian has also worked with incubators and accelerators helping climate tech startups in customer discovery and market segmentation to investment-readiness. Gillian has an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA in Political Science from Rutgers College.
